The company is one of the largest non-retail authorized resellers of UPS shipping services in the United States and the second-largest privately held freight brokerage in the country. Worldwide Express serves more than 121,000 businesses, with a particular focus on small and mid-sized shippers.

The company arranges LTL, full truckload, parcel, temperature-controlled, expedited, final-mile, white-glove, intermodal, and cross-border (U.S.–Mexico–Canada) freight shipping. It does not operate its own fleet; instead, it provides access to a network of over 75 LTL carriers and 45,000-plus truckload carriers. Worldwide Express also handles specialty freight including hazardous materials and tradeshow shipments.
