Overview
Redwood Logistics is a Chicago-based third-party and fourth-party logistics provider founded in 2001. The company operates across North America, including cross-border services into Mexico, and serves a wide range of industries including CPG, retail, food and beverage, manufacturing, healthcare, and automotive. Redwood works with shippers of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies managing complex supply chains down to smaller businesses needing spot freight coverage.
Transportation services span multiple modes: full truckload (dry van and flatbed), less-than-truckload, intermodal (truck-to-rail), temperature-controlled (reefer trailers and cold storage warehousing), and parcel. Redwood manages over $3 billion in freight and maintains both a large vetted carrier network and its own trailer fleet. The company also provides warehousing and distribution services, including inventory management and inbound/outbound shipping, as well as managed transportation and freight brokerage for both contract and spot freight.
Shippers commonly use Redwood for multimodal freight management, LTL consolidation, refrigerated and perishable goods transportation, cross-border Mexico logistics, and outsourced transportation management across complex, multi-carrier networks.
